ZORICA JOVANCOVIC IGNJATOC & DRAGAN IGNJATOV - Painters, Graphic Designers
Our first Artist of the Month on our blog is very special. Dragan was my Tudor when I studied to become a graphic designer. When it comes to art, I am still very old school and like to get my hands dirty with true paint and colors, meaning I am not very digital. I was very happy when I found out that Dragan is basically also an artist who likes to get his hands still dirty on paint, besides being an excellent graphic designer of course.
I will be forever grateful for the patience he had with me teaching me AI, PS and ID and the good laughs we had while doing so.
During the course I got to learn more about him and his lovely wife Zorica and their Art, so I am very happy they agreed to be our first Artists of the Month.
Artist of the Month
JULIE GARDNER - Interior Designer
Julie and I have been knowing each other for 20+ years. We met at the gym in Pacific Grove, CA at 6am chatting on our treadmills. She offered me a home in her back yard very Californian in her French-Style-Cottage guest house. Also did she help me when I studied interior design at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
Fast forward, here we are still friends with the occasional meet-and catch ups in London or Paris.
I am so thrilled and excited she agreed on being interviewed by Atelier EFY to speak a bit about her amazing work she does as an Interior designer .
Tusk Gorilla Trail
A collection of 15 life-sized gorilla sculptures has arrived at Covent Garden, marking the launch of a project by the Tusk Trust.
Desinged by different artists, the aim is to generate crucial funds for the preservation of wildlife throughout Africa.
We went on a discovery tour.
Artist of the Month
Nadia Fakhoury Paris - Designer, Photographer, Artist
Atelier EFY and Nadia Fakhoury have a special connection that happened many years ago outside an "école maternelle" in Paris at school pick up, waiting for our sons to finish school and come out. We chatted along and still do until this day, thanks to social media.
Nadia is this very talented and genually beautiful person, from the inside and outside. This former model has a very calm and sophisticated aura, that makes being in her company very comfortable. Please read what she has to say in this month "artist of the month" edition. We are so grateful to have her on board!
