I grew up in CA on the coast in a small artist town, my mother was a well know Interior Designer.  I got married and raised 2 children and then decided later in life to go into business with my mom and I joined her design firm. 

 

 

My love for design started when I attended the American College in Paris in the early 80's … I fell in love with the art , architecture and fashion that Paris provided for me daily.. Also being raised in a house hold with a designer for a mother I was surrounded by beautiful furnishings and fashion..

 

 

I think when ever I travel I try to take in all the culture and get design ideas from where ever I am visiting… also living next to the ocean also Inspires my color palette.  Designers like Michael Taylor, Ken Fulk, India Mahdavi, Michael Smith, Jonathan Adler.  Just to name a few…

 

 

I’m most creative when doing a furniture layout and starting to get fabrics and colors going… I love textures and materials…

What are you currently working on? 

 

Im working on a few fun projects from ground up .. One on the coast in Big Sur CA and one in the Carmel Valley hills with stunning scenery… also one in Nevada.
